An extremely popular 'Make your Own' bongo cajon kit from Meinl - perfect for a school project or for any cajon player wanting to get arty and customise their instrument.

The kit includes two long side panels, two short side panels, one playing surface with the Meinl logo displayed and one 'sound chamber' partition, all made from quality Baltic birch wood. It also includes simple instructions for building the instrument, translated into 7 different languages.

As for the finish, you can customise to your heart's content! Simply apply paint (acrylic enamel would be ideal), oil or wax for a truly unique design.
