M-Audio’s BX5-D3 monitors excel in every way, the rightful successor to the original studio icon. Fusing superb drivers, meticulously engineered enclosures, great-sounding amplifiers, versatile control options and standardised connection facilities, BX5-D3 delivers sound quality you can trust.

Trusted by recording/mix engineers and composers globally, M-Audio’s BX monitors guarantee precise sound of an excellent quality. The military-grade Kevlar® woofers deliver an excellent response and the silk dome tweeter provides a perfect combination of low mass and the absence of audible resonance that can take over conventional tweeters.

Defined lows and crisp highs

With a meticulously engineered rear-mounted bass port, these speakers help create a high resolution bass sound without the interference of audibly-intrusive air turbulence which occurs when the bass is played back at a high sound pressure level.

The sound dispersion is accurate and reliable with the tweeter mounted in a custom waveguide for reliably accurate dispersion so all unwanted high-frequency 'scatter' is eliminated. M-Audio's famous Keyhole shape has been designed specially to ensure that no driver attachment screw heads interfere with the sound coming from the drivers.

Tailor-made sound

No two listening spaces are the same. In order to cater for this, the BX5-D3 monitors custom tailor your sound to your environment by limiting the impact of nuisance standing waves. The special acoustic space control allows for precise adjustment of the sound output in line with you studio space.

Easy to connect to your device

With the conveniently located rear mounted XLR and 1/4-inch balanced inputs, the BX5-D3 will connect to virtually any studio equipment such as interfaces, mixers, DJ gear and more with ease.
