The JAH-700 Tenor horn, (sometimes known as the Eb horn or Alto horn) is a lovely intermediate student model. Good enough to progress the player well into the middle grades if not beyond and complete with a well made hard case and cleaning materials.
The instrument is constructed using yellow brass, a reliable material with good tone quality, along with a British leadpipe design and mouthpiece angle. The horn has hand laped nickel plated pistons which provides a rich sound and accurate intonation.
The Jupiter JAH-700 (the replacement for the JAL-456L) tenor horn includes a Jupiter TR-7C mouthpiece that is designed for this range of horns as well as valve oil and a cleaning cloth. Also included is the lightweight wooden hard case making the tenor horn easy to transport to and from rehearsals and concerts with great protection.
