Compact Field Recording

The F1-LP is designed to provide pristine audio fidelity, capturing every nuance of your audio source in great detail, achieving sample rates ranging up 24-bit/96kHz. It also features an integrated limiter, designed to eliminate clipping, ensuring a clean and useable take every time.

LMF-1 Lavalier Microphone

The field recorder comes complete with the Zoom LMF-1 lavalier microphone. The lavalier microphone features an omni-directional capsule and is designed to capture every nuance from your source audio. It includes a foam windscreen, designed to minimise sibilance and plosive sounds for a cleaner signal. The lavalier microphone also features an integrated mic clip, allowing you to attach the lav mic directly to your clothes for optimal positioning. As well as being great for audio/visual purposes, the microphone I is also suited to podcasting, Youtube videos and more.

One-Touch Controls

The F1-LP features a comprehensive control section with convenient one touch controls. The unit features dedicated buttons for recording, stopping, playback, limiter, low-cut filter, recorder format and volume output. It also features a range of controls designed especially for videographers. The Record Hold functionality, can be used to prevent the user of the microphone from accidentally hitting buttons during recording, minimising any mistakes when recording. There is also auto-level control designed to keep your levels in tact when louder noises occur. It also boasts USB connectivity so you can transfer your recording directly from the field recorder, whilst in USB audio interface mode.

Interchangeable Microphone Capsules

The F1-LP also boasts the ability to record in both WAV or MP3 formats for maximum flexibility. The WAV files are also automatically time-stamped, catering to Broadcast Wave Format (BWF) standards. You can also change between different microphones with ease. The proprietary 10-pin connector is compatible with Zoom’s interchangeable mic capsules for versatile recording options. It records directly to micro SD or SDHC cards, up to 32GB in size.
