Introducing the early 20th century 3/4 violin
This 3/4 size violin was crafted in the early 20th century after the patterns of 18th century Mirecourt Master Luthier, Nicolas Duchene. Carved from solid tonewoods with a warm and attractive deep brown wood varnish, this instrument has been well loved and looked after, and has a pleasing, antique appearance, typical for an instrument of this age. Ready to play, it produces a bright and radiant sound with rich overtones and plenty of resonance.
The violin has an ebony fingerboard with rosewood pegs and features a composite tailpiece with integral adjusters.
Perfect for intermediate to professional players, it's impressive projection can be utilised for solo or blended into an orchestral setting with ease.
