With this model, Casio realise the full potential of their new CT-X range of keyboards. This instrument brings together all of the latest Casio technology and encases it in a smart and intuitive portable keyboard package.
The new Casio AiX sound source really comes into its own here, with rich bass notes and bright, resonant high notes creating a rich and acoustic sound quality across its 800 different instrument voices. The inbuilt 15W speakers offer sound projection which works well either at home or in a small venue - this portable keyboard really has been developed with performance in mind!
The 235 rhythm accompaniments span all possible musical styles and genres and offer huge potential when it comes to composing, arranging as well as performing live. Tones and rhythms can be saved and easily recalled and the 'phrase recorder' allows you to save an individual melody or idea and then repeat it using one of the four phrase pads adding texture to your work.

At the heart of the CT-X5000 is a revolutionary new sound engine, called AiX. This stands for Acoustic Intelligent Expression, and is many times more powerful than previous technology. As well as using high resolution sampling, which reacts to your touch for greater dynamic control, AiX applies advanced DSP effects to every tone, for an incredibly realistic sound that has to be tried to be believed.

With over 800 tones to choose from, you'll be able to find the best sound for your music. Plus, you can layer and edit tones quickly and easily, for even more possibilities. The CT-X5000 allows you to store your favourite combinations in one of 128 registration memories for instant recall, and you can use the registration sequence function operated by a foot pedal to switch between your combinations without taking your hands off the keys.
Also, capture your inspiration with the 17-track MIDI recorder, complete with studio-grade edit functions. Once recorded, you can use the arpeggiator, auto harmonizer and the phrase pads to take your song further.
Exceptional sound
The CT-X5000 sounds better than any other keyboard in its class. A dual 15W amplification system delivers a smooth and dynamic sound that is simply unmatched by the competition. It also has a 3.5mm stereo audio input, for connecting external devices. You can also plug in to a PA system or mixer using the dedicated stereo line outputs.
Plus, you can plug in a USB memory stick and use USB audio playback to hear any standard WAV file while while you play. Use the centre cancel function to remove vocals from the song and play the melody live.
Songwriters and performers alike will love the microphone input too, enabling you to hear your voice through the amazing speakers of the CT-X5000, complete with editable effects such as reverb, delay, EQ etc.
Learn online with Casio
Using the USB connection, your free access to the interactive Casio Music Academy enables you to learn the basics of secure keyboard technique. You can connect to any Windows, Mac OSX, iOS or Android device and use the CT-X5000 with any music software you may have. Casio's own Chordana Play app is available for FREE download for iOS and Android.
Casio have also teamed up with Rockschool, one of the world's most popular exam boards, to give you exclusive access to a range of great pop and rock songs. This includes downloadable music scores, backing tracks and lesson notes.
