The Tiare concept
Tanglewood Tiare ukuleles have been researched and developed with patience and diligence. With influences from Polynesia, the name itself is taken from the national flower of Tahiti, capturing the essence of the South Pacific ensuring the Tiare models exemplify an authentic and traditional representation of the art of the ukulele.
Made up of a contrasting range of specially selected materials, the Tanglewood Tiare ukuleles have beautiful figuring in the grain to make each instrument unique. Each Ukulele features a luxury ‘fiddleback’ contoured back for increased sound projection and volume, and Aquila Nylgut strings, usually found on only the most professional and high prices instruments. The 17E is also fitted with neck truss rods, along with chrome metal machine heads, ensuring precise tuning.
