The Yamaha® CSF1M combines the portability of a travel guitar with the focused tonal characteristics of a parlor guitar making it ideal for both on-the-road and at home. Special forward-shifted scalloped bracing enhances the bass response, while increasing the overall resonance of the solid Sitka spruce top, creating a fully immersive acoustic and amplified sound.
The resonant sound quality is akin that of a much larger instrument and despite its small scale it has terrific overall projection. Integral to the design is the forward-shifted, scalloped bracing which gives the instrument its impressive resonance. This coupled with the 'Zero Impact' pickups give the guitar impressive performance both acoustically and through a PA or amp.
Made from quality materials
This model features a nato neck with rosewood fingerboard and bridge, which is great for both resonance and playability. Furthermore, mahogany back and sides, and especially the solid sitka spruce top help to grant the instrument a stronger low-end, defying its small physical stature.
