Admira produce a range of solid top guitars of which the Concerto is a prime example. The instrument has a lovely satin finish with the grain on the solid Cedar top looking particularly attractive. The rosewood sides have an understated look about them and the whole body is finished off with a lovely rosette design.
The tonal quality is superb. The guitar has a deep resonance about it with a crisp edge to the sound, it is capable of simple accompanying strumming as well as single solo melodic lines. The Rosewood fingerboard is a wonderfully smooth playing surface so complex fingering can be achieved with comparative ease.
Admira make a wonderful range of guitars and the Concerto is extremely well priced when you consider the quality of materials and workmanship. Certainly a favourite with our guitar playing staff.
Dave, one of our guitar specialists reviewed the Admira Concerto on 8th January 2016: Unusually for an instrument in this price bracket the 'Concerto' has a really nice satin feel to it, you really feel like you have picked up a quality item. It might be just me but the gloss finished bridge looks great, a wonderful contrast to the rest of the body. The sound is wonderfully warm, yes crisp at times, but the overriding sensation is of a mellow sonority not found on other instruments in this range - perhaps this is due to the finish?
