The Adams Universal Fibreglass Pedal Timpani is a lightweight, easy-to-play instrument designed for concert performance, educational use, and travelling musicians. Its parabolic fibreglass bowls deliver excellent resonance and full projection while remaining remarkably portable. Equipped with a European-style block pedal system, also known as a clutch and post mechanism, the pedal can be smoothly adjusted and locked into any position, allowing precise pitch control without affecting pedal performance. Multi-adjustable, retractable supporting legs make setup ergonomic and transport simple, with the rear tripod leg featuring a locking wheel for secure stage placement. Supplied with Adams Remo Renaissance heads, mallets, and a protective cover, this Universal Timpani combines professional sound with lightweight practicality.
The toe-release block pedal system allows smooth, precise action and can mechanically lock in any desired pitch. Unlike spring-based systems, the fundamental pitch of the timpani head can be adjusted without affecting pedal performance, providing reliable control in performance and rehearsal settings.
The multi-adjustable supporting legs retract completely into the fibreglass bowl, allowing a full set of timpani to fit comfortably in a standard vehicle for transport. The locking rear leg ensures secure placement on stage, combining convenience with stability.
Supplied with Adams Remo Renaissance hazy heads with aluminum insert rings, the timpani delivers warm, dark, and focused tones with full-range projection and stable pitch.
