True X Surround

The True X Bar 40A is designed to integrate seamlessly into Yamaha’s True X Surround system. Add optional True X wireless speakers for a completely wireless surround sound setup. Place them wherever you like in the room, press one button, and enjoy enveloping audio without the need for speaker cables.

Built-in subwoofers and Bass Extension

With two integrated 3" subwoofer drivers, the soundbar produces powerful low-end response without requiring a separate subwoofer. Activate the Bass Extension mode for even deeper, more resonant bass—perfect for action films, gaming or music playback.
