Introducing the Yamaha SU118C upright piano c.1987
Handcrafted in Japan from only the finest quality materials, Yamaha SU Series upright pianos represent the pinnacle of Japanese piano manufacture. A sublime quality instrument with each component specially selected, the rare SU118 is designed for the discerning musician who requires the delicately balanced tonality of a top quality concert instrument but in a compact form. Yamaha's technicians have succeeded in creating a remarkably controlled and supremely resonant instrument with far greater depth of tone than its 118cm tall frame would suggest.
This piano was manufactured in c.1987 and has only ever been privately owned, with very little internal wear and the cabinetry in superb overall condition. The piano has been freshly serviced and is an excellent opportunity to purchase a premium quality, handmade upright piano for less than the cost of a new, factory made instrument of a similar size.
The piano is on display and ready for selection, alongside new and used Yamaha U Series and Kawai K series upright pianos, and is also worth comparing with the similarly handmade but German Ronisch 118K.
