Valencia are one of the most popular brands of student line guitars on the market today. Since 1972 they have been manufacturing classical guitars that offer remarkable quality and tone that are extremely popular with both teachers and pupils alike. With a newly opened facility based in Indonesia, Valencia offers higher quality, student and mid-level guitars that do not break the bank. This is not to say that these guitars are not suitable for beginners, in fact playing a nicer guitar that feels more comfortable really helps add to the enjoyment of playing.
The 200 series has a standard sized body constructed with a sitka spruce top with nato back and sides, which combined offer more durability without compromising tone. The fingerboard and bridge are ebonised mahogany for superior stability, and it features a 45mm nut width and a 650mm scale length neck. This is best suited for smaller hands to make it easier to play, or for those moving from electric guitar that prefer a slimmer neck. It is fitted with nickel plated machine head tuners and with nylon strings.
The 200 series is also available with a traditional 55mm nut width for those wanting a standard sized neck.
