The wrong item was sent. I let them know - there was no apology. I returned the item at my own cost. I informed them I was returning the item (via tracked post). Ten days later I hadn't heard from them so asked about the refund which was finally arranged. Presumably they wouldn't have bothered if I hadn't enquired. Will be certain to avoid in future.
