Introducing the Jazzlab Sound deflector for saxophones
Jazz Lab are best known for creating innovative products such as the Sax holder, Sax silencer and now the Sax deflector to aid all sax players both at home and in a live setting. The Jazz lab sound deflector for saxophones is in essence an acoustic shield that quickly and securely clips onto the underside of the bell, effectively deflecting the sound from the bell back towards the player.
The shield is angled towards the player so the sound can be redirected towards your ears. This helps you work on your sound and articulation when practising at home even at lower volumes and for better audibility when playing live, as it can be difficult to hear clearly at a gig. There is a small hole in the shield to allow for sound to be carried towards the audience so it does not mute your saxophone.
Great versatility
The angle of the shield can be easily adjusted as to suit the heights of different players, and can be used to affect how much of the sound is deflected towards you. As well as for uses in performances, this shield is also great for quieter practice.
The Jazzlab Sound deflector for saxophones can be fitted onto soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones and is designed to be easy to transport in a case or gig bag.
