Introducing the Adams Soloist 4.3 octave padouk marimba

The Adams Soloist marimba is the perfect entry point for those looking for a high quality marimba, great for both professionals and beginners.

The padouk note bars offer a beautiful warm, woody sound, and all of the bars on the Soloist marimba are graduated in width and slightly narrower than the Artist series, providing easier mallet spreads for younger percussionists.

Padouk note bars

Padouk is a natural material with a similar tonal response to rosewood, but with a slightly shorter sustain. Players find mallet choices and playing technique like roll speed and dynamic control is nearly identical to that of rosewood, but with the benefit of a lower cost, making it an ideal bar choice for both personal practice and and ensemble.

Features of the apex frame

The apex frame provides a range of great features including a new position of the central cross bar and sturdy side braces for enhanced stability, reinforced connections to promote better sound quality, and an intuitive, simple height adjustment system, all contained in a modern sleek design.

Strong and built to last

The Soloist series resonators are welded for strength and noise-free dependability and styled with a durable powder-coated finish, ensuring a long lasting result. The strength of this instrument does not take away from its great portability, however, with the marimba breaking down into smaller parts, with folding resonators and note-rails.
