Jupiter have been one of the most trusted and reliable manufacturers of wind instruments for decades and this JAS-500-Q is the newest version of their classic student alto saxophone.
It is designed for players up to grade 5 level but, due to the excellent tone and response, will likely take you a little further.
Well Crated
The saxophone's body and keywork have been meticulously crafted using gold-lacquered brass which adds to the instrument's full, rich sound, and Jupiter have included adjustable bumper felts which help to improve the intonation.
This model features an adjustable C#/Bb tilter and an adjustable thumb rest for extra comfort. The JAS-500-Q has the same specification as the JAS-567-FQ but Jupiter are in the process of simplifying their product codes. It is also identical to the JAS-500 except that this -Q model comes with a rucksack case as opposed to the standard Jupiter hard case
All in all, the JAS-500-Q is the perfect choice for beginner saxophonists needing a decent sounding instrument which is relatively easy to play and can be transported easily to and from lessons.
What's in the Box?
It is supplied with an FQ series case which is extremely durable with strong zips and comfortable rucksack-style straps. The case also has reflective strips which so that you can be seen easily by car lights when walking home from music lessons at dusk. Also included is a standard student mouthpiece and a Jupiter cleaning kit.
