The Impact LX25+ MIDI controller is compact, portable, and packed with intelligent and expressive performance controls. It connects automatically to your DAW software with the Nektar DAW integration which has been designed specially for a variety of production software including Cakewalk, Cubase, FL Studio, GarageBand and many more.
The keyboard has 25 velocity sensitive keys which are covered to protect them against dirt and dust as well as complimenting the Impact LX contemporary design. With features like octave and transpose buttons, pitch bend and modulation wheels, you can quickly shift your keyboard up or down as needed, or simply apply additional articulation with the wheels.
There is more to the 4 octave and transpose buttons than meets the eye. You can make important changes at any time using the 4 functions that are selectable on the fly. A key combination makes assignment fast and simple.
You can send out MIDI program messages, change the Global MIDI channel or select any of Impact LX25+'s 5 user profiles using these buttons.
At the centre of the control panel there is a 30mm fader and 8 pots. Each control is fully programmable to send any MIDI CC message for use with hardware or software MIDI products.
There is also the possibility for you to switch Null on, any parameter values are stored when you change pre-sets to avoid parameter jumping.
For beat creation, there are 8 velocity sensitive pads which will make your music creation process very easy. They are calibrated to trigger at a light touch and they have a very even velocity response.
Assignments are stored over power cycling so you don't lose your settings when you switch you system off. The "pad learn" feature also allows you to select a pad then play the note or drum sound you want on the keyboard.
Bitwig 8-track is an effective digital audio station that helps musicians start producing, performing and designing sounds. There's a large selection of instrument sounds and effects to choose from with up to 8 project tracks with audio or MIDI. Artists are able to play and record instruments, produce arrangements and design sounds with the help of the Impact LX series.
