From the 1989 Disney animated film 'The Little Mermaid', Under the Sea was composed by Alan Menken with lyrics by Howard Ashman. It is based on the song 'The Beautiful Briny' from the 1971 film Bedknobs and Broomsticks. It is influenced by the Calypso style of the Caribbean and the song was performed in the film by Samuel E. Wright. This will be a great addition to any concert band programme and will get your audience singing along.
