The Export’s 6-ply (7.5mm) poplar shells are shaped using Pearl’s Superior Shell Technology (SST) and AcoustiGlue bonding, ensuring not just amazing resonance, but premium durability too. The result is a kit that speaks quickly and confidently, with booming lows, clean highs, and articulate mids that cut through any soundscape with fine control.
Each drum features precisely cut 45-degree bearing edges, designed to enhance contact between shell and head. This creates a wide tuning range with excellent dynamic response, giving players access to subtle nuance and thunderous impact alike.
