For broadcast production, it includes intuitive ENG camera controls, enabling easy operation even in fast-paced environments. The large low-light sensor delivers outstanding image quality in various lighting conditions, making it perfect for news and live programming. As a live studio camera, it offers full remote control and advanced YRGB colour correction, making it suitable for high-end live broadcasts. It can use a variety of lenses, from B4 ENG lenses to larger studio lenses, and even allows you to change the lens mount for complete flexibility. For digital cinema, the camera’s 6K sensor and high dynamic range deliver “Hollywood” quality footage, offering a cinematic look for broadcasters.
With its large 6K sensor and Blackmagic’s Generation 5 colour science, the URSA Broadcast G2 provides digital film quality for broadcast applications. The sensor’s 6144 x 3456 resolution is perfect for both Ultra HD broadcast and 6K digital film. When using B4 lenses, the camera utilises a 4K window of the sensor for broadcast use, but with PL or EF lenses, you can access the full 6K resolution, ideal for film productions.
