Introducing the Allen & Heath Avantis digital mixer

Avantis is built on the impressive 64 input / 42 bus 96kHz mix engine, with class-leading 0.7ms latency plus add-on processing from the flagship dLive mixing system. This mixer also features a compact design with a fully assignable layout and Continuity UI, which seamlessly connects physical and touchscreen controls for the fastest, most intuitive workflows, giving you the freedom to mix with ease. The whole system is set up to dynamically surface the information you need at any moment and put control right at your fingertips.

From Allen & Heath's next-generation 61-band RTA, with 5m, 15m and 60m history views, through to Shure and Sennheiser RF integration, Avantis is designed to let engineers spend more time mixing and less time worrying about the technology.

Pick your size

Avantis and Avantis Solo are both built on the same 64 input / 42 bus 96kHz mix engine with the only difference being the amount of physical control and I/O available on the mixer. Just pick the form factor that best suits your application or mixing style.

Avantis

  • 24 assignable SoftKeys
  • 24 faders, 6 layers
  • 12 Analog and 1 stereo AES Inputs
  • 12 Analog and 2 stereo AES Outputs

Avantis solo

  • 18 assignable SoftKeys
  • 12 faders, 6 layers
  • 6 Analog and 1 stereo AES Inputs
  • 6 Analog and 2 stereo AES Outputs

Intuitive controls

With dual 15.6″ Full HD touchscreens at the heart of the experience, Continuity UI allows you to see and instantly interact with more of what matters, enabling a seamless connection between the physical controls and the screen. The faders react on touch to immediately highlight the active channels for instant visual feedback. The channel rotaries let you work gains or pans, then at the touch of a button, dynamically fold the display to show EQ or compressor parameters across the whole bank. Each screen also features a FastGrab tab on the right-hand side, giving you split-second access to key freely-assignable parameters like aux sends, EQ, compressor and FX on the currently selected or specific channel.

Acclaimed dLive processing

Right out of the box, Avantis is loaded with powerful processing tools that will easily meet the demands of most users and applications. Want more options? Upgrade your console with Avantis dPack to get additional dLive processing including Dyn8 (up to 16 instances), DEEP Compressors, and the Dual Stage Valve Preamp, plus more models as they’re added. DEEP processing is trusted by platinum selling artists on sellout tours, as it puts incredible emulations directly within Avantis’ input and mix channels with zero latency, while Dyn8 features 4 bands of dynamic EQ and 4 bands of multiband compression for applications including taming vocals, tightening sub-groups or adding sonic glue to a mix.

Expansive connectivity

For local I/O, Avantis is well equipped with XLR analogue inputs, XLR analogue outputs, plus AES (Stereo In, Stereo Out). Two additional I/O Ports allow Avantis to benefit from the full range of current dLive option cards, including Dante (64×64 and 128×128), Waves, gigaACE, MADI and more, expanding the scope for system integration, FoH / monitor splits and multitrack recording.

A world of control

Avantis can be controlled using the Avantis Director software, MixPad app, Custom Control app, or from a range of remote controllers and GPIO interfaces, with up to 48 IP remote controllers over a standard TCP/IP network. There's also Avantis Director, a free Windows and Mac OS application enabling offline editing and online control capabilities.
