Weighing less than a kilo, Move is easy to carry and quick to set up. Its rechargeable battery provides up to four hours of continuous music-making, while built-in Wi-Fi and 64GB of internal storage make it simple to save, share and collaborate. Despite its small size, Move delivers serious creative capability for lessons, workshops or self-guided exploration.

Four-track freedom

Move’s streamlined four-track design encourages focus and creativity. Each track can be set to Drum Mode, Melodic Mode or Sampler Mode, allowing students to explore rhythm, melody and texture without being overwhelmed by complexity. Sessions can easily be expanded in Ableton Live later, maintaining a smooth learning and production workflow.

Hands-on creation

The 32 velocity-sensitive pads, nine high-resolution encoders and touch-sensitive jog wheel make music creation intuitive and immediate. Capture every idea as it happens — Move even remembers what you just played, so no idea is ever lost. With parameter automation, dynamic effects and real-time looping, Move encourages experimentation and musical expression at every level.

Built-in sampling and sound design

Create unique sounds using Move’s built-in microphone, stereo line input or internal resampling. Learners can explore the fundamentals of audio editing and synthesis with instruments including Drum Sampler, Wavetable, Drift and Melodic Sampler, while effects such as Reverb, Delay, Saturator and Auto Filter offer instant sound-shaping possibilities.

Seamless connection to Ableton Live

Move integrates directly with Ableton Live via Control Live Mode, allowing users to transfer Sets, control projects or continue developing their ideas in the full desktop environment. With Ableton Link built-in, Move stays perfectly in time with other devices over a local network — ideal for collaborative performance or classroom group work.
