The Aputure Lantern is one of Aputure’s fastest soft light modifiers, designed to pop open and be ready to use in seconds. As a filmmaker, time is of the essence, and your lighting should never slow you down. With the Lantern, you can achieve soft, even light quickly, no matter where your shoot takes you.
Thanks to its 26'' spherical design, the Lantern spreads light in all directions with a 270° beam angle. This allows you to fill an entire room with soft, even light using just a single light source. It's the ideal tool for creating a natural, uniform look across your shoot.
For cinematic depth, light control is essential. Aputure took the spherical lantern design one step further with a 4-section, fully adjustable light control skirt. The removable skirts attach easily with a hook-and-loop design and can be positioned to flag off unwanted light, giving you precise control over your lighting setup.
With its tension-based quick release design, the Lantern can be set up or broken down in just a few seconds, making it perfect for run-and-gun filmmakers. Its durable, portable design means it’s ready to go wherever your shoot takes you, allowing you to work faster and more efficiently.
