The redesigned model features a high level of focus on improved intonation, ease of playing, use of precision CNC manufacture, high quality polishing, plating, padding and build, all with high quality materials, giving you great value and performance. Pitched at a typical A=442Hz, and is constructed from a high-quality ABS resin body with silver plated keys, resulting in an instrument that is easy to play.
The clarinet is an ideal free-blowing, high-quality student instrument that not only plays well but has great intonation, and produces a solid, bright, great quality tone that will aid any beginner in their first steps.
The Series 8 features a silver plated Boehm system with 17 keys and 6 rings. Trevor James has also included an improved left-hand F/C key adjustable mechanism and a reshaped register key for an ergonomic playing experience. The adjustable thumbrest has been fitted as standard with an additional cork cushion for comfort.
The clarinet is fitted with premium white leather pads, whilst the speaker pad is a chamfered cork pad. This combined with the leather pads, greatly improves the response particularly around the E/B, and F/C. The black bumpers and blue needle springs throughout the clarinet allows for an efficient and quiet mechanism.
