So you want to learn a musical instrument?

The Chamberlain Music Instrument Rental Scheme is ideal for kids and adults who want to start a new instrument without the burden of a costly purchase.


Who is it for?

It is for players of all ages – adults and children


Do you hire out all types of instruments?

We hire the majority of popular instruments including:
Flute; Piccolo; Clarinet; Oboe; Bassoon; Saxophone (Soprano, Alto, Tenor & Baritone)
Trumpet; Cornet; French Horn; Flugel Horn; Trombone; Tenor Horn; Baritone Horn; Euphonium; Tuba

What do I need to be able to proceed?

You can rent an instrument either in person in our showroom in Haslemere, Surrey or by mail.


Showroom

Please bring two forms of ID:

1)       Photo ID, either a new style driving license with a photograph or a passport

2)       A utitilty bill or credit card bill clearly showing your name and address

 

Mail

Please complete the hire form by clicking here and typing your details into the interactive pdf form. When completed, please print 3 copies. Please sign both the contract and the standing order mandate on each copy (marked with an 'X') and return all copies to us with the items below and we will sign and return one copy for your records. We will contact you for a credit or debit card number for your initial hire payment.

Send copies of the following either by email, post or fax:

1)       2 x different IDs with printed home address such as a driving licence or utility bills

2)       A copy of a credit or debit card as a third ID

3)       Bank details for hire payments

 

What is the minimum rental term and how often do you take payment?

The minimum term for renting an instrument is 3 months. Renewals are automatic each quarter and up to a maximum of two years after which the instrument is yours to keep.


Can I purchase the instrument?

Yes, the instrument can be purchased at any time with 50% of all rental charges deducted from the price (up to a maximum of 7 payments)
