Introducing the Boston GP156 II baby grand piano c.1997
Introduced in the early 1990's, Boston pianos are designed by Steinway & Sons in the USA and assembled by Kawai in Japan, thus enabling Steinway to compete in an area of the market very much dominated by Yamaha and Kawai.
The 152cm long GP156 is the smallest model in the range, and incorporates many unique Steinway patents, along with refined tone-enhancing design features including duplex scaling, a rock maple inner rim and a tight-grained, solid sitka spruce soundboard.
This c.1997 example is a second generation instrument benefiting from notable design and quality enhancements over earlier models. The piano comes to us in wonderful condition throughout and is an ideal choice for the discerning home pianist.
Presenting a superb opportunity to acquire a Steinway-designed instrument at the price of a new, similarly sized Yamaha or Kawai, our Boston GP156 c.1997 is on display and ready for selection.
