The Admira Clasico BM1949 classical guitar is a good choice for the advancing student. The body of the instrument is a little smaller, which makes the whole thing easier to hold - ideal for younger players - whilst the neck is full size which is wonderful for developing your technique. This guitar benefits from being produced in Spain at the well known Admira factory and material and production quality is very good.
The instrument is produced using good tonewoods - Laminated Pine for the top and Sapelli for the back and sides - so despite its smaller proportions tone quality is full and resonant.
Body - 3/4 size (457mm) 970mm total length
Scale - 650mm
Top - Oregon Pine
Back & Sides - Sapelli
Neck - African Mahogany
Fingerboard - Mongoy
Machineheads - Lyre design Nickel

This is not a guitar that I would normally pick up of course, as it is really designed for smaller players. That said, the full size neck does mean that I can essentially play as much on this guitar and just as well as I can on a full size instrument. Of course, the body of the guitar is smaller, so tone quality cannot match a full size guitar, but comparing it to a similar sized Tanglewood or Jose Ferrer the Clasico performs very well.
Whist this instrument is obviously designed for the improving student, the last couple that we have sold in store have gone to adult players wanting a travel guitar, something smaller but with the tone quality of something bigger - a niche it fits very well!
