Admira have released its new A1 hand crafted classical guitar. It is a find sounding guitar which is very competitively priced.
The ADM01 A1 has a solid cedar top which greatly improves the tone, especially when compared with the more common laminate wood top of cheaper guitars. Not only that but as the guitar gets played more and more the tone will slowly become richer as time progresses.
The rest of the guitar is made from strong tone woods such as sapelli, it has a rosewood fingerboard, an African mahogany neck and together they provide the overall stability and durability needed from a student model.
The one thing that sets this guitar apart from the likes of the Diana, Sara and Malaga series is the construction of the neck.
It has been crafted with a traditional Spanish heel neck joint, widely acknowledged by guitarists to be one of the best for traditional Spanish classical guitars.
This means that the neck and headstock are made from a single piece of wood and the base of the neck is fitted across the whole depth of the body, creating a fin. This in turn results in the more tone from the neck being transferred into the body and helps keep the neck in place under the strain of the strings.
All of these subtle nuances result in a guitar that is strong and reliable whilst producing a superb tone.
