Introducing the Yamaha YSS475II intermediate Bb straight soprano outfit

The YSS-475 delivers professional qualities at an intermediate price. Much of it’s design is based upon the custom EX saxophones, with the YSS-475 sharing many of the same features, offering outstanding response, tone and intonation, as well as comfortable playability.


Fantastic design for optimal sound quality

The featured lower vent tube is designed to reduce noise on the lower vent key action, and the redesigned body shape provides improved intonation and optimal air-flow. The custom spatula facilitates correct technique and increases player comfort, and with the adjustable thumb rest and pivot screws, you can customise the saxophone to perfectly fit you. For a lighter, more comfortable feel, this saxophone also features redesigned keys.


Designed to fit the progressing player, the high F# key allows for more alternate fingerings and a true high F#, providing greater versatility and the redesigned key post rib plate adds great durability and strength, ensuring a long lasting instrument.
