Straight & curved headjoints
The additional curved headjoint supplied with this model allows beginners to start learning from a younger age, this is because it creates a 'U bend' in the head of the flute that brings the keys closer to the body. This prevents smaller players from stretching too far, which can often be detrimental to their technique and posture. As soon as they are ready for a full length flute, the curved head can simply be replaced by the included standard straight joint.

There’s a CY headjoint featuring a double flare taper and a unique embouchure hole undercut design.
