What we think of the NEW Yamaha Arius YDP164 digital piano:Siting at the top of the Yamaha Arius range, the NEW YDP164 digital piano features an authentic 88 note hammer action keyboard with ivory and ebony feel, along with a newly recorded sample of Yamaha's flagship CFX concert grand. A system of 3 sensors in the action enables authentic repetition, while key off, damper and string resonances add authenticity to the sound. A 2 x 20 watt speaker system produces a clear treble and rumbling bass, and Stereophonic Optimiser technology gives the impression that the sound is coming from further away, even through headphones, giving the spacial sensation of playing an acoustic piano. A range of wood effect veneer finishes makes the YDP164 an attractive piece of furniture, and it also has a number of useful features to help with learning too. A two track recorder allows you to store and review your performance, and it is also compatible with Yamaha's Smart Pianist app. The app cleverly analyses the songs stored in your iTunes library and produces a basic score for you to learn to play, and enables fine adjustment of the acoustic piano sound too. With an enhances specification over the entry level YDP144, the new YDP164 offers a larger 2 x 20 watt amplification system, an upgraded key action with ivory feel and 3 sensors, and a more elegant cabinet, and is a great choice for the intermediate level pianist.

Delivery is fast and free to all UK mainland addresses. Depending on your location we will select a courier - normally TNT, UPS or a Pallet service. We aim to deliver as quickly and safely as possible and do our best to keep you informed all the way. Delivery of digital pianos is to doorsteps however many drivers are happy to assist further although they are not contracted to do so.
