The Bentley Compact 85, known as one of the smallest acoustic upright pianos ever produced, was made in Stroud Gloucestershire and measures just 96cm tall, making it an ideal choice for those with limited space.
The resonant tonality of an acoustic upright piano is unmatched by anything digital or electronic, and this presents a very good value way of obtaining a real instrument with hammers and strings.
Today, Bentley is merely a name affixed to uprights made by Pearl River Group in China (albeit very good pianos!), and this piano has a warm and mellow tone, very typical of the original, English-made Bentley.
