These octopus ukuleles are excellent value for money. With their quality pine bodies, mahogany necks, engineered Rosewood fretboards and smart metallic finishes, they're a superb beginners' instrument for people of all ages. They have proved to be particularly popular with schools; the kids find them easy to tune and they love the bright colours.

Ukuleles provide a great introduction to chord structures, intervals and general having fun making music! Octopus ukuleles are fitted with Aquila Nylgut strings, widely considered the ukulele world's best strings for intonation and tone.

Rebekah, Ukulele expert, reviewed the UK200-BK on 21st January 2018

This is one of our most popular Ukuleles, and is now a serious instrument in itself, with groups such as the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain emerging alongside pop-up groups all over the country. This sleek black instrument is the most elegant of all of our ukuleles. The geared machine head tuners make the instrument easy to tune, and it is an excellent instrument for both children and adults alike. Soprano ukuleles use re-entrant tuning, where the strings are not ordered from lowest to highest pitch.Standard ukulele tuning (left to right when looking at the front) G C E A
