The Howarth Junior MX Bb Clarinet represents the latest in Howarth's innovative Junior range, designed for the youngest of students. With a limited range of keys, this instrument allows an introduction to the clarinet without the struggle of navigating the complicated keywork. This is perfect for smaller hands as well as full class music programmes.
A reduced key system
The Junior MusiTrax clarinet has a reduced key mechanism to play a limited range of notes and it is lightweight for young hands. The instrument also has a wider use as a first access instrument where the skills of holding an instrument, posture, breathing, tonguing and fingering can be introduced. The Junior Clarinet is in Bb and uses standard fingerings allowing easy progression to the full clarinet.
Teaching is made easy with the Howarth Junior MX - the "Simplefit" mouthpiece and ligature makes set up simple so more time can be spent playing, and learning!
