Songs From The Camps - SATB, solos & narration

All of the songs in the Holocaust Cantata, originally in Polish, were found in the United States Holocaust Memorial Music archives (Aleksander Kulisiewicz Collection) and were written by prisoners while incarcerated in Nazi concentration camps. The readings are based on interview transcripts, historical data and the story of Irena Augustynska Kafka. The Holocaust Cantata contains no plot, rather each song and reading represents a difference person and a different time in the Holocaust experience: therefore, a different member of the chorus should perform each reading.
