Hiscox Liteflite cello case - Ivory & silver

You may be wondering how this case compares to the OCW-STD-BL, and the primary fundamental difference is the increased thermal protection that this lighter coloured case offers- it maintains a temperature that is 15% cooler when exposed to identical heat sources. The double- moulded ivory shell is constructed from versatile ABS material and offers increased high-impact protection (it has also passed the famous 'Hiscox crush test’ and can comfortably support the weight of 5 people [or 500kg])! The robust outer shell is bonded to an inner moulding of thick cellular foam, which is draped in a high quality plush velour which protects your cello from physical damage whilst keeping it rigid in the case. When closed, the case is securely held together by 8 clips that are affixed to the aluminium rim of the case. The strong built-in wheels and hand-stitched carry handle and back-pack straps make this case easily transportable and ensures a balanced weight distribution for ease of use.
