Info Full description
This new H4NPRO handy recorder takes all of the functionality of the well respected H4N model - and dramatically improves it! The HN4 was always known for its versatility and this new model takes that ethos even further.

The HN4PRO is generously equipped for recording audio for film. There is fantastic sounding stereo imaging thanks to the new and improved X/Y stereo mics but the unit also has a two combination input jacks which allow you to use any other external microphones as well. It is also capable of handling up to 140dB so it can record even the loudest heavy metal gig with absolute clarity whilst capturing the very ambience of the venue too. This model is excellent at recording interviews or storytelling so is popular with the journalist or podcaster. With the external mic inputs you can connect your subject to a lavalier mic and the time stamped WAV files make it easy to sync audio and video footage. The unit has overdubbing and punch-in features as well as studio grade effects and emulators.

The two X/Y mics are unidirectional and can be changed from 90 degrees to 120 degrees very easily which can change the focus of your stereo imaging by simply twisting the mic capsules.

The H4n Pro runs on 2 AA batteries, providing up to 6 hours in normal operation, or up to 10 hours when operating in STAMINA mode. An optional AD-14 AC adapter allows the H4n Pro to be powered from any standard wall outlet.

The H4n Pro accepts SD and SDHC cards up to 32 gigabytes. The charts below show maximum recording times for different file types and card sizes.
