The sound engine includes all the resonances you would expect from an acoustic piano including key off, damper and string resonances along with mechanical action noise, thus producing a rich and authentic piano sound. The newly developed Casio Smart Scaled action enables the keyboard to monitor how each note is being played too, it then adjusts the timbre of sound accordingly. The PX-S1000 is the most compact, full length digital piano on the market today and is also unique in that the entire display is touch activated, there are no buttons and the panel fades away when not being used to further enhance the illusion that you are playing a real acoustic piano. Bluetooth audio streaming enables you to play along with your favourite tracks, while via a USB cable the instrument can be connected to your smart device to be used with sheet music and tuition apps, such as Casio's own free Chordana Play app. A metronome and song record facility along with USB to HOST and audio outputs complete the PX-S1000, making it a useful tool for practice and performance.
