Info Full description
Wittner are well known for the production of metronomes and this BM1626 (Wittner 811M) is one of their traditional wooden, wound pendulum models.

The metronome has a solid, real mahogany case which has a stunning matt-silk finish. The front triangle pops off to reveal the pendulum where, via a sliding dial, you can select the desired speed of the metronome. The click is a satisfying, mechanical sound which is much more pleasing than the digital beep of cheaper electronic metronomes, not to mention it is louder and easier to play along to. The metronome is 'charged' by winding a small metal key which is attached to the side of the case. Additionally there is an internal bell which can be controlled by a pull-out metal button located above the winding key. This bell will sound on the 1st beat of the bar and can be set to the following time signatures;

This model has a variety of speeds - from 40bpm to 208bpm and is a brilliant addition to any music room, practice studio or study.
