What we think of the Bluthner Model B traditional cabinet upright piano
Bluthner pianos are famous the world over for their beautiful, singing 'Golden Tone' and are the instrument of choice for many of the worlds finest musicians and composers. Since the company was founded in 1853, the ethos has been to produce the finest quality pianos in the world, and to this day Bluthner upright pianos are beautifully handcrafted in Leipzig Germany from only the finest materials.
Thanks to its enormous string length and soundboard area, the traditional style Model B upright piano has proven very popular with professional musicians, and even rivals many a small grand piano. With Abel hammers and a Renner action the Model B makes for a fabulous choice of domestic or indeed performance instrument.
Often available for selection in conjunction with Bluthner London, the Bluthner Model B upright piano is available in a wide selection of attractive finishes with several additional options to help you create your perfect piano.
Also available as a 'Silent piano', this allows the player to 'switch off' the acoustic element of the piano and practice privately with headphones. A wonderful and great value addition to your acoustic piano this allows you to select from 80 different sounds, including pianos, electric pianos and orchestral sounds, record your performance and even use your acoustic piano as a MIDI controller. Supplied with a good quality set of headphones for private practice the Moontime system also has audio outputs to connect to external speakers.
