Introducting the Yamaha PSR-F51 portable keyboard

Building on the success of the preceding PSR-F50, Yamaha's new PSR-F51 is a basic yet functional keyboard with the beginner player or classroom in mind. It has a number of excellent quality sounds, rhythms and built in songs and represents superb value for money.

It is no frills and basic but ideal for the primary school classroom or school on a tight budget! It is worth noting that this keyboard does not have MIDI, and the keys are not touch sensitive.

Simple and user friendly

Yamaha focused on live performance when developing the keyboard’s basic functions. Thanks to this approach, it is easy and intuitive to operate even if you have never read the manual. Just select a voice, choose a rhythm, and start!

Voices and styles from all over the world

While the PSR-F51 has a simple interface, its sounds are still programmed to the highest Yamaha standards. In addition to pianos and keyboards, orchestral instruments, guitars and percussion, the voice bank also includes distinctive traditional instruments from all over the world and wonderful sound effects.

Powerful sound

In order to facilitate performance in a wide variety of situations, the keyboard has a 2.5-watt stereo amplifier that delivers quite a punch.

Metronome and Duo mode

In addition to a metronome for use when practising, the PSR-F51 includes a Duo mode, which allows the player to assign different patches to the left and right hands (with custom split point).

Headphones output jack

You can use this jack not only to practice without disturbing others but also to connect the instrument to the sound system when playing on-stage.

Also runs on batteries

In situations where AC mains power is not available, the PSR-F51 can be operated using batteries instead. It requires six 1.5-V AA size batteries, which can be either rechargeable (1.2V Ni-MH rechargeable batteries or equivalent) or non-rechargeable.Manufacturer's warranty: 2 years
