This 106SM is our best selling duet stool and is a particular favourite among private customers as the seat and frame are interchangeable. The frames/legs are available in a range of different wood veneers and seat colours/fabrics, so you can customise the stool to suit your piano and furniture.

In terms of durability and construction, Discacciati stools are unsurpassed at this price bracket. Each of the solid wooden legs on the 106 are securely bolted to the frame with a strong metal bracket and the seat neatly slots in the top. The height-adjusting mechanism is again metal braced and operates very smoothly. Its lowest height is 48cm and it extends to 58cm so that all players, young or old, can play comfortably.

This stool is designed to sit two people side by side with room to spare - its dimensions are 91 x 32cm - so it would be perfect for a child and parent practising at home, a teacher for their piano lessons or for you and a friend to play duets together.
