Valencia are known for producing classical guitars that offer great quality, value and tone. Recently moving production to Indonesia, they set up a purpose built manufacturing facility to produce a range of guitars aimed towards students or mid level players and are fast becoming the first choice of many guitar teachers.
The 400 series is the top end model in the new range and features selected sitka spruce top with bound nato back and sides. Having bound sides, the guitar is able to produce a full, well rounded tone with excellent projection. It has a strong 650mm scale mahogany neck with 52mm nut width and a rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
Unlike the 200 and 300 series, the 400 series guitars are fitted with the Graphtech nu-bone saddle, adding greater sustain and bringing extra clarity which is a big plus in classical guitar playing. Another nice feature along side the vintage satin finish, is the gold plated machine heads with pearloid buttons that complete the guitars traditional looks.
All in all the 400 series offers outstanding value for money in both tone and appearance and would make for a great addition for anyone entering the world of classical guitar.
