Drum amplifiers are always tricky, particularly finding one which produces a great sound at a decent price. For this reason, Roland have produced the PM-03; one of the smallest in the drum monitor range, but no less diverse and powerful than its big brothers.
Less than 10 inches in diameter, and under 18 inches high, the PM-03 is a compact and portable monitor, easily fitting into even the smallest spaces.
Roland have designed this monitor for use with any Roland HD or TD based V-Drums kits. Nonetheless, this monitor can be used with a whole host of other compatible kits, its sleek and stylish exterior easily blending in with other styles, makes, and models of electronic drum kit.
The Roland PM-03 Drum Monitor is the first in its class to utilise a 2.1-channel system. This delivers a clear stereo projection, and enables the sound to be amplified over a wide stereo field, enhancing the playing, and producing extended low frequency coverage.
Another great feature of the Roland PM-03 Drum Monitor that makes it ideal for the home is its ability to switch itself off should it not be in use. The PM-03 detects if no audio has been passed through it and after 30 minutes, will put itself in standby. This is great if you have children that may forget to power off the unit after practice and is peace of mind when it comes to your energy bills.
In review, The PM-03 is an inexpensive, high-quality method for amplifying any electronic drum-kit. Simple, stylish and easy-to-use.
