The Jupiter JCL-750S-Q is a re-modelled version of the popular JCL-737 Bb clarinet. It is the first instrument in the Jupiter range to be made entirely from solid wood which makes the overall tone quality significantly richer. This makes instrument perfect for the improving student approaching the latter grades.
The instrument is made from aged Grenadilla which is an African hardwood used often in the production of musical instruments. It is known for its dark rich tone quality and is aged appropriately before being used in production. This removes the possibility of dramatic changes in in the shape of the wood and makes the clarinet very stable indeed. Metal tenons further reduce the chances of the shape of the wood changing around the joints which makes the instrument very easy to put together. The natural wooden grain of the instrument gives a very high end, professional appearance too.
The key work is ergonomically designed and silver plated. As well as the obvious cosmetic benefits, this does give the instrument a very precise action and longevity not least due to the inclusion of blue steel springs.
The instrument is supplied as an outfit so includes mouthpiece and cover, ligature, cleaning materials and the new back pack style 'FQ' lightweight case.
