The EMX2 is a compact mixer and active amplifier, combining two powerful products into one portable package. Its compact design makes it is ideal for any impromptu performance. It delivers superb sound that will highlight any party, gig, outdoor event or karaoke night.
You can hook up four microphones to the mixer at any time, which makes it easily suited for live performances.
Each channel features a 3 band EQ, allowing you to individually tailor each channel for optimum audio balance. If you need to connect your laptop or external device to the mixer, you can do this using the Aux input.
The mixers portable and lightweight design is easy to transport, making it ideal for events where a fast set-up is required. Need a mixer for your gig? The EMX2 has a high-impedance input, which lets you plug your guitar or bass directly into the mixer. This useful function eliminates the need for external processing and shaves precious minutes from your set-up time. The mixer has incorporated phantom power into its mic inputs, which gives you the option to use a high-quality condenser microphone for optimised vocal performances. There are four types of reverb in this mixer: Hall, Plate, Room, and Echo. You can use these effects to create atmospheric textures, and the Echo effect might prove particularly useful for Karaoke performances. The Feedback Suppressor is a handy solution for all the spontaneous feedback issues that sometimes occur in venues.
The design of the EMX2 is based upon Yamahas best-selling Stagepas 600 PA system, and offers a multitude of effects and functions. The simple interface design makes the EMX2 easy to operate for first-time users. Even those with no previous audio experience will be able to find their feet (or inner sound engineer) with relative ease. Simply pair the EXM2 with a set of passive speakers and a microphone for a full PA set-up.
