What we think of the Casio CTK-1100
As a beginner keyboard it offers great functionality and quality. It is worthwhile spending a little more money over the CTK-240 as you gain an extra octave in length. This means it can be played more like a piano. The sounds are as realistic as they get for this price and the lesson features fun and intuitive.

Dom, piano and keyboard adviser, reviewed the CTK-1300 on 26th January 2016:
'A massively popular keyboard! Casio instruments have improved no end over the last few years, the build quality, reliability and sound quality is better than ever before and these are now a seriously good value alternative to the more expensive Yamaha! The instrument sounds are particularly good for the price point and Casio's intuitive Step Up lesson feature makes the CTK-1300 a great instrument for a beginner. This package deal includes all you need to get going and make music, including Casio's online music lessons which are great fun and really useful. While the keyboard can be placed on a desk I'd recommend purchasing a keyboard stand too, this will enable you to get it to a comfortable playing height and to perfect your posture.'
