The Antoni 'Debut' series is just that. A good quality beginner violin that is a decent starting block as a first instrument for students.
The violin itself is made with a hand carved solid spruce table (top) and solid maple ribs, this is generally considered to increase the sound quality of the instrument over an instrument with a laminate table. Both the fingerboard and and tuning pegs are made from ebonised hardwood making them more hard wearing and the neck is made from solid maple.
At the base of the violin, you will find a lightweight alloy tail-piece fitted with integral adjustable fine tuners, making tuning the instrument easier, and the strings that come pre-fitted are a similar standard to Dogal.
As this is supplied as an outfit, also included with the violin is a brazilwood bow which is fitted with natural white horse hair, and plush lined foam case with internal pockets for spare strings and rosin, as well as a large external pocket for sheet music.
*Every Violin receives a FOC setup by our in house technicians prior to despatch*
One thing that is essential with any budget violin is the set up.
Without a comprehensive set up from an experienced technician, the instrument you receive can be more difficult, if not impossible to play. This is why we ensure that every string instrument receives a setup by one of our trained luthiers. In most instances, the bridge is adjusted, the fingerboard is plained to make it smooth and the instrument is tuned. By taking the time to do this, it helps to ensure that each instrument is ready to play straight from the case.
