Cubase 8.5 Pro gives you all the power and versatility that you need at your fingertips for any professional audio application.
With the latest flagship version this DAW Steinberg have continued to build upon their market leading reputation, making further developments to workflow to make this version even easier and quicker to use.
So what is new in Cubase Pro 8.5?
Steinberg have developed the latest version of Cubase by utilising the feedback from many professional users worldwide and so there are very few areas that Cubase have not made even the subtlest touches, to add better visibility, smoother handling and workflow efficiency.
In 8.5 manipulating audio and creating a great mix has become even more intuitive and includes great features such as free hand automation and VCA automation within the MixConsole. MIDI editing has been enhanced for those wanting to write drum tracks with drum editors. Further enhancements have been made to the Chord Pads feature offering more choices and helping with writers block.
We see a return of the critically acclaimed Retrologue 2 virtual analogue synthesizer. It features an additional oscillator, new polyphonic LFO's, extra envelope filter and flexible arpeggiator. It is packed with over 700 pre-sets, 24 high quality filters, 5 distortion modes and an extensive FX section including: delay, chorus, flanger, phaser, vintage ensemble, reverb and 4-band EQ. All of this combined makes this a versatile instrument that really is a force to be reckoned with.
Another great feature is the 'VST Transit'. Embedded into Cubase, this is a cloud collaboration service that allows the upload of audio and MIDI tracks to store and access from another workstation. Collaborate on shared projects and record your parts from anywhere in the world! This can be a huge benefit for classroom projects.
